outside of my interests in tech i am also an avid lover of music, from concert-going, playlist curating, learning multiple instruments, appreciating different genres,
to geeking out over all things composition/arrangement/theory. my interest in learning more about software was sparked early on in my childhood as i took an affinity to music
notation and playing around with daws. one of my piano teachers had introduced me to noteflight and through that i explored what it's like to partake in a digital creative community.
i also feel like i grew up with musescore, as i have used each version that came out in distinct phases of my life ( ‾́ ◡ ‾́ ).
here you can find a library of various arrangements/transcriptions i've completed (and had the time to link here so far), ranging from string ensemble, orchestra, guitar, electric bass, and piano.
i started picking up electric bass in sept 2023, and have since notated tabs for a bunch of songs with fun basslines to play.
most of the songs are indie or alt rock with a mix of japanese (including anime osts) and filipino artists.
here's a playlist of songs i want to learn eventually + have already learned / notated.
still tryna learn how to slap, but so far it has been a fun experience for rekindling my obsession with music notation, learning songs by ear, and picking up new instruments!
i also feel like i can listen to songs so differently now that i've tuned in to the bass, even those i've listened to many times before :0
